Abstract

Balanço crítico do percurso feito pela comunidade acadêmica da comunicação, na América Latina, desde a sua institucionalização, tomando como marco histórico o congresso de Embu-Guaçu (1992). Propostas para superar os impasses persistentes e idéias para fortalecer sua identidade cultural nesta conjuntura de globalização compulsória.
