Abstract

A revista Comunicación y Cultura, editada por Armand Mattelart e Héctor Schmucler entre 1973 e 1985, foi um importante referente para os estudos da comunicação da América Latina. Este artigo é resultado de uma pesquisa que reconstroi os principais temas, conceitos e referências teóricas da publicação, a partir da idéia frankfurtiana de "constelação", e faz ver que a revista antecipa alguns dos marcos teóricos que somente mais tarde serão desenvolvidos.
