Abstract

Em 1979 surgiu, em Portugal, a primeira licenciatura em Comunicação Social. Em Abril de 1994 já existiam 24 cursos superiores na área da comunicação e do jornalismo. Esta mudança traduz, simultaneamente, a valorização social das profissões dos media e a crise das saídas tradicionais das formações universitárias em Ciências Sociais e Humanas.
