Políticas culturais do governo Lula / Gil: desafios e enfrentamentos

Abstract

O texto analisa as políticas culturais desenvolvidas pelo Governo Lula / Gilberto Gil, em especial, investigando como este governo tem enfrentado os desafios colocados pelas três tristes tradições das políticas culturais nacionais no Brasil: a ausência, o autoritarismo e a instabilidade. O trabalho discute sucintamente estas tradições; indica os principais projetos formulados e implementados pelo Ministério da Cultura, que visam superar tais tradições e aponta limitações detectadas nestes enfrentamentos. O texto é parte do projeto de pesquisa em andamento intitulado Políticas Culturais no Brasil: Itinerários, Atualidade e Desafios Contemporâneos, realizado com apoio do CNPq.
