A monitoria deve permitir a construção do conhecimento em condição de complementaridade entre professor, aluno, problemas sociais e conhecimento já construído. Porém, é necessário observar as relações da monitoria com a instituição, o currículo, a interação professor-aluno e o prazer de ensinar e de aprender, a fim de que se possam visualizar as constribuições que a monitoria visa oferecer à formação do comunicador social.
