Sobre la revista
Intercom: Revista Brasileira de Ciências da Comunicação (RBCC) es una publicación editada por la Sociedad Brasileña de Estudios Interdisciplinares de la Comunicación (INTERCOM), direccionada al campo de la Comunicación. Su contenido es ocupado en su mayor parte por artículos científicos, respetando la interdisciplinaridad y la amplitud temática características del área del conocimiento.
Todo el contenido de la revista,con excepción donde identificado, está bajo una Licenza Creative Commons tipo CC-BY-NC (Si el texto viene a ser aprobado para su publicación, los autor(es) propietario(s) firma(m) una declaración - en conformidad con el modelo definido - transfiriendo los derechos autorales a la revista, autorizando a la Intercom - Revista Brasileira de Ciências da Comunicação a publicar el material en medios impresos, electrónicos, CD-ROM y/o de Internet o cualquier otro medio conocido).
Misión: Contribuir para la difusión del conocimiento científico y la reflexión plural sobre la Comunicación.

- No se cobra tasa por la submisión ni para publicación de textos.
- Los textos son recibidos para las secciones Artículos, Arena y Reseñas y deben observar estrictamente las normas descritas abajo:
1. Artículos- material de análisis o revisiones resultantes de las investigaciones teóricas originales en el campo relacionado con temas de Comunicación Social (con extensión entre 32 mil y 40 mil caracteres, con espacio). Los textos deben contener análisis e interpretación de resultados e una introducción que explica la estrategia de investigación y metodología utilizadas. Serón priorizados textos que efectivamente sean venidos de investigación e que evidencien descubierta científica e/o invención metodológica o conceptual. Seccione fija.
2. Arena - articulos sobre temas controvertidos y/o emergentes, estudios de casos, notas preliminares de investigación (tamaño entre 20 y 30 mil / reflexiones escritas con más libertad formal). Sección flexible.
3. Entrevista- testimonios de personajes ilustres con historias de vida, logros profesionales y/o relevante contribución académica al campo de la Comunicación. Sección fija.
4. Reseñas- textos de una extensión entre 6 a 6.500 mil caracteres (con espacio), contiendo registro y crítica de libros publicados recientemente. Seccione fija.
Intercom: Revista Brasileira de Ciências da Comunicação es una publicación cuadrimestral de la Sociedad Brasileña de Estudios Interdisciplinares de la Comunicación (INTERCOM) y elige la Comunicación como el área central de interés, respetando la interdisciplinaridad y la amplitud temática características del área del conocimiento. Su contenido se centra en la publicación de artículos científicos. Recibe textos sometidos en flujo continuo.

Mission: To contribute to the dissemination of scientific knowledge and to a pluralistic reflection on Communication.
Information to the authors:
- There is no charge for manuscript submission nor publication.
- The texts are received for the sections Articles, Reviews and Arena and must observe the rules described.
1. Articles - analytical articles or reviews resulting from original research in theoretical or field related subjects of Social Communication (with size ranging from 32 000 to 40 000 characters with spaces). They should contain analysis and interpretation of results and an introduction in which the author(s) explains the research strategy and methodology used. Priority will be given to texts that are actually derived from research which bring to light scientific discovery and / or methodological or conceptual invention. Fixed section.
2. Arena - texts about controversial and/or emerging issues, case studies, preliminary research notes (size between 20 and 30 000 / written reflections more formal freedom). Flexible section.
3. Interview - testimonies of the distinguished figures with stories of life, professional achievements and/or relevant academic contribution to the field of Communication. Fixed section.
4. Reviews - texts between 6000 and 6500 characters (with spaces) with record and critical review of recently published books. Fixed section.
The articles submitted are submitted to a pre-assessment on the Editorial Committee to determine whether they meet the formal requirements. Once accepted in the first instance, the text, without identifying the author, goes through a review by two members of the Editorial Cientific Board. In case of divergent opinions, the paper is submitted to a third member. The material is returned to the author (s) in case of the reviewers suggest changes or corrections. The results of the assessment are communicated to the author(s) also in cases of rejection. The final decision on the merits of the work is the responsibility of the Editorial Committee (editor and associate editors).
