Abstract

A proposta deste artigo é mostrar como a relação entre discurso e poder foi abordada na tradição francesa de estudos da linguagem, principalmente os semiológicos. Esse recorte se justifica pelo fato de a questão do poder ter sido tematizada, nesse campo, de uma forma bastante explícita devido à influência do pensamento de Marx ou de Michel Foucault. Privilegia Roland Barthes entre os autores em torno dos quais é organizado.
