Crossmark is a Crossref service that helps readers quickly identify whether a published document remains in its original version or if it has undergone any updates — correction, errata, retraction, or editorial note. By clicking on the Crossmark badge in an article, it is possible to check the current status of that document and view additional information about its publication history. The adoption of Crossmark is a way for the journal to publicly declare its commitment to maintaining and updating the content it publishes.
