Abstract

Este estudo tem por objetivo mostrar que os jornalistas, quando reproduzem opiniões de políticos na imprensa, estão submetidos a um sistema de formulação que não é neutro. Para comprovar esta tese, analisam-se aqui verbos (e algumas outras formas linguísticas) que introduzem tais opiniões. A ideia central é que os verbos agem seletivamente sobre os conteúdos dando-lhes uma intencionalidade interpretativa com características ideológicas. Com isto mostra-se que a atividade jornalística não é apenas expositiva, mas analítica e interpretativa.
