Abstract

Euclides da Cunha foi um jornalista sintonizado com o seu tempo. Não obstante sua obra privilegiasse as narrativas sobre o sertão brasileiro, onde ele identificava o cerne da nacionalidade, nem por isso descuidou do cenário internacional, principalmente daqueles fatos relacionados com a América Latina e os seus fortes sentimentos nacionalistas.
